Eye Pictures, LLC is based in the NYC area and is an award-winning production company.
We recently had our film, The Lake in the Sky, selected for four Academy-Award Qualifying Film Festivals in 2024.
Eye Pictures aims to create moving, boundary-pushing, and cerebral projects that inspire people to think, create, and feel.

We’ve been making movies since 2020. Our films create imaginative, rich worlds that transport audiences places they’ve never been before. We are driven to tell compelling stories — work that challenges conventional storytelling and raises the bar on the independent film scene.
At Eye Pictures, we are passionate about (and give the upmost care to) every aspect of the filmmaking process, from initial concept to final DCP. We hope that our work can be enjoyed by all kinds of people — from mass audiences to film buffs alike, and it can spark change, thought, and conversation.

David Paul is a musician, lawyer, and film enthusiast. He has co-produced all Eye Pictures productions to date. is favorite movie is Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Lara Paul
MANAGING PARTNER
Lara Paul is the daughter of a Metropolitan Opera Singer and Grammy Award-winning Composer and Conductor and a proud graduate of the famed University of Michigan Musical Theatre Program. She has co-produced all Eye Pictures productions to date.
